The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is proud to announce the official launch of The Patriotic Institute—a premier political training school—on Tuesday, 28th May 2025 in Accra. The establishment of the Institute marks a bold and visionary step by the party to institutionalize ideological education, strategic leadership training, and capacity building for the future of Ghana’s democracy. In a rapidly evolving political environment where voters are more issue-conscious, digitally connected, and policy-focused, the need for a structured, long-term training platform has become imperative. The Patriotic Institute is NPP’s strategic response to this national imperative—aimed at nurturing principled, informed, and effective leaders at all levels of the party

A Training School with Purpose
The mission of the Patriotic Institute is to produce a generation of leaders who:

• Understand and defend the party’s history, values, and constitution,
• Demonstrate ethical and strategic leadership,
• Are skilled in political messaging, campaign strategy, and grassroots mobilization,
• Appreciate governance systems and contribute meaningfully to national policy discourse.

The curriculum includes both mandatory foundational courses—which will be compulsory for all executives, parliamentary candidates, and spokespersons—as well as specialised courses in areas such as campaign research, communication strategy, leadership ethics, and mentorship.
Learning for All Levels
The Institute is designed to be accessible across all levels of the party, from polling station executives to national leadership. Delivery will be through in-person training workshops, online learning portals, and mentorship exchanges—ensuring flexible and inclusive participation.

Strategic Launch – A New Chapter Begins
The launch event on 28th May 2025 will bring together NPP national executives, regional representatives, Members of Parliament, political educators, international partners, and members of the diplomatic corps. The event will feature keynote addresses, unveiling of the Institute's visual identity, live demonstrations of the e-learning portal, and a symbolic enrollment of pioneer trainees.
